FASHION FILM FESTIVAL

Porto Fashion Week brings to Portugal a concept that was first explored in some of the biggest fashion weeks in the world: the Fashion Film Festival, the only of its kind in our country, aims to highlight the Fashion Film as a privileged audiovisual language to promote and publicize the work of creators in the Fashion Industry and audiovisual highlighting and awarding the best works.

The 5th edition of the Porto Fashion Film Festival is in the air and on the agenda are the Author, Brand and Technical Textile Fashion Films and International Fashion Films, but the drums go to Alive Mobile - the new category that awards the best works filmed with all the potential of smartphones. With the orchestra in tune, the Festival is waiting until 17 Sept to receive the Fashion Film that will be seen, heard and voted in this Festival.

With its 11th edition about to get underway, Porto Fashion Week is the natural evolution of MODtissimo, the unique trade show of Portuguese Fabrics and Accessories, Clothing, Future Textiles and Tanning. Irreverently and innovatively positioned, Porto Fashion Week brings a series of parallel events to MODtissimo, including the Fashion District, the Porto Fashion Week’s Night Out, the Fashion People – a photo contest – and the Fashion Film Festival.
